Security & Architecture Preview

UniCareOS is built for a world where trust can’t be assumed, it must be proven.
Consensus & Integrity:
At the heart of our blockchain is a modified HotStuff consensus protocol. HotStuff is a leader based, Byzantine Fault Tolerant (BFT) algorithm that ensures fast, final, and secure block confirmation. We enhance this with our proprietary Ethos Heartbeat signature: every block is cryptographically stamped by the leader node, creating a traceable, auditable chain of custody for every transaction and state update.
Performance & Scalability:
To support high throughput and real time medical data, we use a Narwhal inspired mempool. This advanced transaction queue decouples transaction dissemination from consensus, allowing the network to handle more transactions in parallel and scale to meet real world healthcare demands.
Dynamic, Patient Centric Permissions:
Our Liquid Contracts framework enables dynamic, on chain permissions. Patients can grant, revoke, or adapt access to their records in real time, with document level scoping. This means you control exactly who can see what, and for how long without waiting for manual approvals or off chain processes.
Built for Security from the Ground Up:
UniCareOS was engineered from scratch. No fork from a crypto chain. We deploy multi region failover nodes, document level permissions, wallet based identity and attestation, and future facing ML compatibility. Security isn’t an afterthought, it’s the very first feature.
Privacy & Compliance:
UniCareOS is engineered to support HIPAA compliance from day one. All protected health information (PHI) is encrypted in transit and at rest, with strict access controls and audit trails. Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is automatically redacted from analytics and logs, ensuring only authorized parties ever see sensitive data.
